We owe this tradition on the one hand to the innovative team at Salon Krenek and on the other hand, of course, to Ernst Krenek himself.<\/p>\n

He was one of the most versatile Austrian composers of the 20th century and had been intensively involved with electronic music since the 1950s. In 1967, he personally bought a Buchla 100 Series Modular Synthesiser from Don Buchla.
\nThe instrument is part of Ernst Krenek’s estate and is on display in the Salon Krenek.<\/p>\n
