Different views about the projects …

2nd June 2023 – Instagram

Not only that my son got in touch with electronic music production in a workshop, but also he performed with synthesizers for the first time in his life.

He said he didn’t expect to be able to play on such a huge stage and this truly is due to the amazing Gammon, who is the initiator of this project, a great musician and, in my eyes, an amazingly empathetic, forward looking pioneer of contemporary cultural education.

New humans require new instruments –

BIG up to the @modular.synthesizer.ensemble and the children of the new time.

May there be possibility.

“Gammon very quickly created a group structure for our participants and enabled them to feel their way in. The possibilities of the synthesizers were explained in a playful manner, and a first shared sound experience soon emerged. Questions were answered in detail and soon it was possible to experiment in the ensemble. The participants were part of the whole and could keep the focus long and concentrated. A gain in self-awareness and creativity.”

„It was really a highlight of the festival for me to see everyone performing together on the synths. It seemed like the group really bonded! I was also really happy that we had such a nice audience watching the performance!
Next time I want to take the workshop too ;)“

I just wanted to drop you a line as soon as we arrived back in the UK to say how much we all enjoyed your modular ensemble workshop. It was such a valuable experience for the students to take a technical journey to an exquisitely beautiful musical destination. Your teaching methods and technical setup were perfect for bringing people together to enjoy a very sensitive and attentive musical experience. Thank you very much, it was a highlight of our trip. We would all love to see and hear the footage you took, if it was possible to send a link sometime, to bring back a very happy memory.

„What I liked the most was the great joy and enthusiasm of all participants (adults and children), as well as the “didactics” and the good pedagogical handling, the successful palace between demand and composure, the appreciative sympathy of the audience with the youngsters; and that we were allowed to experience all this – crowned by the enthusiastically received boat trip – for free. 1000 thanks !!!

„This is a fantastic form, how the children experience such a differentiated and very “clean” sound, that the music really goes through a development and that they experience closeness to current sounds and beats – and yet get the curve out of a stereotype …“
