“Kinetik” is not a Instrument in this sense, it is much, much more than this. Its a own family of instruments and a complete acoustic universe. Inspired by open ears discovering daily life sounds and objects to involve in a musical context because of their sound quality.
Like John Cage said: „Everything we do is music.”
Kinetik extends the method of the MODULAR SYNTHESIZER ENSEMBLE with a rich topic: Soundobjects
Solenoids and DC Motors will be controlled by the Modular Synthesizer to set different materials into vibrations. A kinetic soundsculpture will be formed, amplified with contact microphones and modulated with the Modular Synthesizer. Electronic an acoustic sounds are conglomerating and a unique sound experience will appear.
